Today at the Open House I worked, I gave an art tour to a wonderful family who later stopped me at lunch. The father said “If you’re from Hillsdale, why didn’t you go to Montclair?”

My answer was basically that I didn’t want to go to a school that a majority of my high school was attending. I did want a smaller school but now I’m second guessing it.

I just looked at Montclair’s graphic design required courses and it’s nothing like we have at Arcadia. They need to take classes like Intro to Marketing and Advertising Theories and Techniques.

WHY THE HELL DON’T WE HAVE THOSE TYPES OF CLASSES?!

Plus, they are constantly building up their portfolio for critique. What.

Can I just redo college.

I’m never getting hired as a graphic designer and I’ll probably live in a cardboard box.
